M.L. Sirichalerm Svasti explained about the inspiration behind this special menu “It’s Bangkok Airways’ commitment to introduce new and innovative service to meet the passengers’ need. I, as consultant, have created this special meal concept for meal on board to match the airlines’ slogan, Asia’s Boutique Airline, which is to convey the Thai and Asian essence.”

“Apart from changing the in-flight menu concept, I also feel that Bangkok Airways should offer special menu for other Thailand’s important national holidays. So, here is the special menu for Thailand’s most prestigious day – “Father’s Day or the King’s Birthday held on the 5th December.  I have chosen the main dish that is well known to all Thais - braised chicken and quail eggs in soy palm sugar sauce or (Kai Palo) and to honor our King and his Royal Projects, we will serve Thai tea pudding (panna cotta) with brownies and macadamia nuts from the Royal Project.  For breakfast, hot meal will be served with fresh fruits and the pudding will be for lunch and dinner. This menu will be served in all domestic flights originating from Bangkok. This menu is particularly created for the 5th of December, and I hope you will enjoy these specialties”
