<h2>Trat Airport</h2>

<p>Trat Airport is the third Public airport owned and operated by Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited, located on a 1,400 rai of land, at No. 99, Moo 3, Tambon Tasome, Ampur Khao Saming, Trat Province. The Airport, surrounded by scenic rubber plantations and pineapple orchards, is open for service from 06.00 hours to 22.00 hours.</p>

<p>The Airport can accommodate airlines operating domestic and international flights by offering landing and take off services, at rate announced by Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. Air traffic control service is available throughout operating hours. International passengers can process custom clearance and immigration formalities within the airport terminal. The runway, 1,800 meters long and 45 meters wide, has safety zones that complies with ICAO requirements.</p>

<p>Trat Airport was officially opened on 31 March 2003 but started to service the first flight, operated by a 70-seat ATR72-200 aircraft, on 18 April 2003 after a temporary airport operating license was granted.</p>

<p>The Airport is conveniently located 15 kilometers from ferry landing to Koh Chang, 35 kilometers from Trat city center and 70 kilometers from the next province of Chantaburi.</p>

<p>In addition, Trat Airport is certified Carbon Footprint for Organization in 2017 among 4 other areas including Samui Airport (certified in 2016 and 2017), Sukhothai Airport, Bangkok Airways Offices, and Hangar Facilities which demonstrates the airline&rsquo;s awareness and commitment towards global warming and climate change issues.</p>

<h2>สนามบินตราด</h2>

<p>สนามบินตราดเป็นสนามบินสาธารณะแห่งที่ 3 ในเครือบริษัท การบินกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) ตั้งอยู่เลขที่ 99 หมู่ 3 ตำบลท่าโสม อำเภอเขาสมิง จังหวัดตราด บนพื้นที่ประมาณ 1,400 ไร่ พื้นที่โดยรอบเป็นสวนยางพาราและสวนสับปะรด สนามบินตราดเปิดให้บริการตั้งแต่เวลา 06.00 ถึง 22.00 น. ตามเวลาท้องถิ่น</p>

<p>สนามบินตราด มีบริการตรวจคนเข้าเมืองและศุลกากร มีการเก็บค่าบริการลงจอด ตามที่สำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทยประกาศ มีบริการการจราจรทางอากาศให้บริการตลอดเวลาที่เปิดทำการโดยให้บริการแก่สายการบินและการบินทั่วไป สำหรับทางวิ่งมีความยาว 1,800 เมตร กว้าง 45 เมตร และมีพื้นที่เขตทางวิ่งตามมาตรฐานสำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทย</p>

<p>เมื่อวันที่ 31 มีนาคม 2546 สนามบินตราดได้ทำพิธีเปิดโดย ฯพณฯ สนธยา คุณปลื้ม รมต.กระทรวงการท่องเที่ยวและกีฬา (ณ ขณะนั้น) อย่างไรก็ตาม สนามบินตราดยังมิได้เริ่มทำการบินจนกระทั่งได้รับอนุญาตให้จัดตั้งเป็นที่ขึ้นลงชั่วคราวของอากาศยาน เมื่อวันที่ 17 เมษายน 2546 หลังจากได้รับใบอนุญาตให้จัดตั้งเป็นที่ขึ้นลงชั่วคราว สายการบินฯ จึงเปิดทำการบินเที่ยวบินแรกในวันที่ 18 เมษายน 2546 โดยเครื่องบินแบบ ATR72 - 200 ขนาด 70 ที่นั่ง</p>

<p>สนามบินตราดตั้งอยู่ห่างจากตัวจังหวัดตราดประมาณ 35 กิโลเมตร ห่างจากจังหวัดจันทบุรีประมาณ 70 กิโลเมตร และห่างจากท่าเรือเฟอร์รี่ไปเกาะช้างประมาณ 15 กิโลเมตร</p>

<p>นอกจากนี้ ในปี 2560 บริษัทฯ ยังผ่านการรับรองข้อมูลคาร์บอนฟุตพรินท์ขององค์กรใน 5 พื้นที่ ได้แก่ สนามบินสมุย (ต่อเนื่องจากปี 2559) สนามบินสุโขทัย สนามบินตราด ส่วนกลาง และโรงซ่อมอากาศยานของบริษัท ฯ ซึ่งข้อมูลเหล่านี้เป็นการแสดงศักยภาพการมีส่วนช่วยแก้ไขปัญหาภาวะโลกร้อนในอนาคต</p>

<h2>Sukhothai Airport</h2><p>Sukhothai Airport is built on 1,018&nbsp;rai of land in Ampur Sawankaloke, Sukhothai Province. Construction of the Airport started in 1992, was completed in 1996 and opened to service the first flight, operated by 70-seat ATR72-500 aircraft, on 12 April 1996.</p><p>Two main supporters in operation of Sukhothai Airport came from Aeronautical Radio of Thailand Limited (AEROTHAI) and the Department of Meteorology. AEROTHAI took charge of air traffic control, installed air navigation and communication equipment and provided VSAT satellite communications system. <h2>Samui International Airport</h2>

<p>Samui Airport is a standard commercial airport, opened for service on 25 April 1989, located on 500 rai of land (at present) at Boput, Koh Samui, Suratthani Province. Construction work began in 1984, after having been endorsed by the Civil Aviation Authority Thailand that the site is suitable to build an airport, because the expansive plain, once a coconut plantation, is large enough for building an airport.</p>

<p>On 25 September 1996, Samui Airport received a license as a customs Airport to operate international scheduled air services. Facilities provided in the international passenger terminal, for convenience of tourists, include immigration, customs and quarantine service, disease control check point, food, and drug administration check point, as well as tourist visa on arrival and VAT refund services.</p>

<p>The Airport has been built and designed with main concern on the environment of Koh Samui.&nbsp; To ensure the buildings blend in with natural surroundings as far as possible, wood from coconut palms were used and open-air pavilions without walls letting cool breeze and fresh air to flow through.&nbsp; The runway, 2,100 meter long and 45 meter wide, can accommodate small jet aircraft, weighing up to 70 ton, such as Airbus A319 and Boing 737, which takes only 50 minutes to fly from Bangkok.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Later, expansion of the airport had been made with more buildings for service and office.&nbsp; The 16,000-square meters of usable space (excluding roads, runway, taxiway, apron, and car parks) comprises a check-in building, 7 terminal buildings for domestic and international passengers, a group of commercial buildings, a group of service buildings and offices.&nbsp;&nbsp; These buildings can accommodate up to 12,000 passengers daily or up to 4,380,000 annually.</p>

<p>Samui Airport is the first airport in Thailand with Carbon Footprint certificate presented by Greenhouse Gas Management Organization in 2016 and 2017. There are also four other locations in the Company that received Carbon Footprint certificate in 2017 namely Sukhothai Airport, Trat Airport, Central area* and Hangar. The certificate shows that the Company has potential to help solve problem of global warming in the future.</p>

<p>On July 1, 2025, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited transferred the rights to the public airport operating certificate for Samui Airport to Bangkok Airport Management Company Limited, in accordance with the regulations of the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand. The transfer has been reviewed and approved by the Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand.</p>

<h2>สนามบินสมุย&nbsp;(สนามบินเอกชนแห่งแรกของประเทศไทย)</h2>

<p>สนามบินพาณิชย์มาตรฐาน เปิดทำการบินเมื่อวันที่ 25 เมษายน 2532 ตั้งอยู่บนเนื้อที่ประมาณ 500 ไร่ (ในปัจจุบัน) ณ ต.บ่อผุด อ.เกาะสมุย จ.สุราษฎร์ธานี เริ่มก่อสร้างเมื่อปี 2527 โดยได้รับความเห็นชอบจากกรมการบินพาณิชย์ว่าเป็นพื้นที่ที่เหมาะสมสำหรับเป็นที่ตั้งของสนามบิน</p>

<p>สนามบินสมุยได้รับอนุญาตให้เป็น สนามบินศุลกากร ตั้งแต่ วันที่ 25 กันยายน 2539 ในการประกอบกิจการเดินอากาศแบบประจำ เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกให้กับผู้โดยสารที่ประสงค์จะเดินทางระหว่างสนามบินสมุยและต่างประเทศ</p>

<p>ภายในอาคารผู้โดยสารต่างประเทศ ประกอบด้วย ด่านตรวจคนเข้าเมือง ด่านศุลกากร ด่านกักกันสัตว์ ด่านตรวจพืช ด่านควบคุมโรคติดต่อระหว่างประเทศ ด่านอาหารและยา และมีบริการตรวจลงประทับตราประเภทท่องเที่ยว (วีซ่า) รวมไปถึง บริการคืนภาษีมูลค่าเพิ่ม (VAT REFUNDS) เพื่ออำนวยความสะดวกแก่นักท่องเที่ยว</p>

<p>สนามบินสมุยได้รับการออกแบบและก่อสร้างต่าง ๆ โดยคำนึงถึงสภาพสิ่งแวดล้อมของเกาะสมุยเป็นหลัก เน้นการออกแบบให้กลมกลืนกับธรรมชาติแวดล้อม สร้างด้วยวัสดุที่เป็นไม้ต้นมะพร้าว ลักษณะอาคารเปิดโล่ง ทางวิ่งสนามบินสมุย สามารถรองรับน้ำหนักอากาศยานได้ถึง 70 ตัน มีทางวิ่งยาว 2,100 เมตร กว้าง 45 เมตร สามารถรองรับเครื่องบินโดยสารไอพ่นแบบลำตัวแคบได้ เช่น Airbus A319 และ Boeing 737 โดยใช้เวลาเดินทางจากกรุงเทพประมาณ 50 นาที</p>

<p>ต่อมาสนามบินสมุยได้ทำการขยายกลุ่มอาคารผู้โดยสาร อาคารบริการและสำนักงานเพิ่มเติม ประกอบไปด้วยอาคารตรวจบัตรโดยสาร, กลุ่มอาคารผู้โดยสาร 7 อาคาร แบ่งเป็นอาคารผู้โดยสารภายในประเทศ 4 อาคาร และอาคารผู้โดยสารระหว่างประเทศ 3 อาคาร, กลุ่มอาคารพาณิชย์, กลุ่มอาคารสำนักงานและอาคารบริการอื่น ๆ</p>

<p>สนามบินสมุย นับเป็นสนามบินเเห่งเเรกของประเทศไทย ที่ได้รับการรับรองเครื่องหมายคาร์บอนฟุตพรินท์จากองค์การบริหารจัดการก๊าซเรือนกระจก โดยได้รับการรับรองในปี 2559 และ 2560 โดยในปี 2560 ยังมีอีก 4 พื้นที่ ที่ผ่านการรับรองข้อมูลคาร์บอนฟุตพรินท์ขององค์กร ได้แก่ สนามบินสุโขทัย สนามบินตราด ส่วนกลาง* และโรงซ่อมอากาศยานของบริษัท ฯ</p>

<p>เมื่อวันที่ 1 กรกฎาคม 2568 บริษัท การบินกรุงเทพ จำกัด (มหาชน) ได้ดำเนินการโอนสิทธิใบรับรองการดำเนินงานสนามบินสาธารณะ สนามบินสมุย ให้แก่ บริษัท กรุงเทพบริหารสนามบิน จำกัด ตามข้อกำหนดของสำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทย ซึ่งผ่านการตรวจสอบจากสำนักงานการบินพลเรือนแห่งประเทศไทย เรียบร้อยแล้ว</p>
