Bangkok / 3 March 2020 (Today) - Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited announces today that the airline has elevated their precaution and transmission prevention plans for the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pneumonia as it takes the current outbreak very seriously. The measures apply not only to the airline’s operation but also to its three airports since health and safety of passengers and staff are the company’s utmost priority.

In addition, the company has rolled out a policy to prevent employees from traveling to the high-risk countries as well as requesting all employees not to travel at this at this time unless absolutely necessary.
The company’s precaution and prevention plans are in accordance with the standards and guidance of national authorities such as Department of Disease Control, Ministry of Public Health, The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand as well as international organizations such as International Air Transport Association (IATA) and World Health Organization (WHO).
