Bangkok - Recently, Bangkok Airways Company Limited led by Mr. Tortakul Samakul, Regional Director – Sales, organized the “Bangkok Airways Open House” campaign at Bangkok Airways Operations Center (BAOC), Suvarnabhumi airport. In addition to that, the airline also organized a pioneer visitation trip to Siem Reap, Cambodia during 21-23 February 2018 for professors from leading universities in Thailand.
The Bangkok Airways Open House is organized to disseminate knowledge regarding the operation of Bangkok Airways. The campaign aims to improve the quality of learning, increase comprehension skills, and exchange knowledge with students through academic and professional experiences within the airline. Participated students are expected to gain knowledge of crew service, ground service, reservations and ticketing as well as the airlines day to day operations such as air traffic controller, cargo loader to name a few.
To make this campaign more interesting and appealing to the participants, this year, Bangkok Airways introduces two new features which are Cabin mock up and Flight simulator - exclusively for student pilots only. Moreover, the airline includes professionals from its four business units in the program which are Bangkok Airways, Bangkok Air Catering, Bangkok Flight Services and Bangkok Ground Services.
15 universities and over 900 students nationwide have participated in the “Bangkok Airways Open House” campaign since the launch of this campaign 3 years ago.
