Booking Manual


Step 1 : Search

For flight reservation, visit www.bangkokair.com, select your preferences in the Booking Form and click "Search Flight" to proceed.
A : Select Journey type.
B : Select origin and destination.
C : Select date of traveling.
D : Select number and type of passenger.
E : Fill in the promotion code to enjoy the privilege.
F : Click SEARCH.

Step 2 : Flight

A: All available flight and fare information will be displayed for selection.
B: After the selection, the summary of selected flight and fare will be shown in "Trip Summary" section
C: Check and review the details chosen, then click "Continue" to proceed.

Step 3: FlyerBonus Program

A registered FlyerBonus member can login to retrieve the account details
A: Fill in your membership number and password
B: Click "Login" to proceed
C: Membership information will be retrieved and displayed. For unregistered and non-member user, click "Cancel" to close this window and continue with the booking as guest

Step 4: Passengers

A passenger information page will be displayed for your input.
A : Users are required to fill in these mandatory fields; title, first name, last name (according to passport or travel document), gender, telephone number and email
Travel preferences are available for users to collect milage/ point from Frequent Flyer Program, Seat selection and Meal Preference
B : For Frequent Flyer Program, select the preferred airline from the list, then fill in the membership number.
C : For seat preference, 2 types of seats will be available for selection; both aisle and window seat
D : For meal preference, choose one selection from the list of various meal types

Step 4.1: Passengers (Baggage & Travel Insurance)

A: To purchase extra baggage allowance, click "ADD" from Baggage Selection and select an additional weight allowance from 5 kg up to 30 kg
B: Optional Travel Insurance is available to assure and cover losses from travel accident, flight cancellation, baggage lost etc.
C : Once all mandatory fields are filled and preferences are selected, click "Continue" to proceed

Step 5: Seats

A: Select specific Seat preference from the available seat map (light blue).
B : Once the preferred seat is selected, such seat will display in dark blue
C : Click "Proceed with seat selection" to proceed for the payment
D : Click "Proceed without seat selection" to proceed for the payment without any seat preference at this stage
* Seat selection will be available at "MODIFY MY BOOKING" section after the payment is completed
** Seat selection will be unavailable with less than 24 hours prior to flight departure time

Step 6: Payment

There are various channels of payment available.

6.1: Credit/ Debit Card *Visa, Master, or JCB

If credit/debit card is chosen
A: Click "CREDIT/ Debit CARD", fill in the cardholder name, card number, expiry and CVV stated at the back of the card.
B: Read and tick the check box to accept Terms and Conditions, then click “Make Reservation” to continue
C: The system will direct you to your bank issuer's page. Fill in the OTP (One Time Password) received via mobile SMS, then click "Submit" to complete the booknig process
*OTP may not be automatically sent for some issuing bank. Please click “Request” to get OTP.

 

6.2: Counter Service (7-eleven) *Not applicable when purchasing with travel insurance

If Counter Service is chosen, the payment slip will be generated for user as a reference to proceed payment at the convenience store "7-eleven".
Click "Continue" to acknowledge and return to Bangkok Airways' confirmation page.
The system will send 2 emails to the email account as previously provided in Step 4.
A: The email with subject "Your BangkokAir reference number has been generated", informs both the transaction amount and time-limit to complete the payment.
B: The email with subject "Bangkok Airways: UNSUCCESSFUL PAYMENT…..", informs the unsuccessful payment status including the travel itineraries to check prior to submitting payment.

6.3: Counter Payment, ATM Payment, Bank Counter or Internet Banking (Ibanking)

If Counter Payment, ATM Payment, Bank Counter or Internet Banking is chosen, the payment slip will be generated for user to proceed payment at the channel selected.
The system will send 2 emails to the email account as previously provided in Step 4.
A: The email with subject "Bangkok Airways: 1-2-3 Service : Payment Slip #", informs both the transaction amount and time-limit to complete the payment.
B: The email with subject "Bangkok Airways: UNSUCCESSFUL PAYMENT…..", informs the unsuccessful payment status including the travel itineraries to check prior to submitting payment.

6.4: Direct Debit (WEBPAY)

If Direct Debit is chosen
A : The system will direct you to the chosen Bank's website for settlement. Fill in the Login name and password registered with the Bank, then click "Submit"
B : System will show the amount to be settled.
C : Fill in the OTP (One Time Password) received via mobile SMS, then click "OK" to proceed.
D : System will generate the amount settled, payment slip can be printed out for reference.
Click "BACK TO MERCHANT" to return to Bangkok Airways' website. Confirmation email will be sent out shortly.

6.5: Union Pay

  • If Union Pay is chosen, the system will direct you to Union Pay’s website for settlement.

- You will be advised to fill in the card number, card expiry Month/Year, CVN2, and cash withdrawal BIN OR

- If SMS code is required instead of card withdrawal code, the SMS code will be received via your mobile SMS

Once done, click "Confirm and Pay" to proceed and page will direct you to Bangkok Airways’ confirmation page.

6.6: My e-Wallet; Line Pay, WeChat Pay or Alipay

  • If Line Pay is chosen, the system will direct you to LinePay’s website for settlement. 2 payment options will be available for you:

- QR code: You can scan QR code via Line Application to settle the bill. OR

- Log in Account: Fill in account name and password to submit the payment

Once this is done, you will be redirected back to Bangkok Airways' website. Confirmation email will be sent out shortly.

  • If Ali Pay is chosen, the system will direct you to Alipay’s website for settlement. 2 payment options will be available for you:

- QR code: You can scan QR code to settle the bill. OR

- Log in Account: Fill in account name and password to submit the payment

Once this is done, you will be redirected back to Bangkok Airways' website. Confirmation email will be sent out shortly.

6.7: Installment Payment Plan *Minimum purchase THB3,000/Transaction

If Installment Payment Plan is chosen,
A: Select your participating bank and installment option. Then fill in the credit cardholder, card number, expiry and CVV stated at the back of the card.
B: Read and tick the check box to accept Terms and Conditions, then click “Make Reservation” to continue
C: The system will direct you to your bank issuer's page. Fill in the OTP (One Time Password) received via mobile SMS, then click "Submit" to complete the booking process
*OTP may not be automatically sent for some issuing bank. Please click “Request” to get OTP.

Step 7: Confirmation

After the payment process, users will be directed to "Confirmation page" with different "status" indication based on the selected payment type as below:

  • Booking Pending: indicates that the booking is still on-hold, awaiting for the payment to be completed; this is seen in the following payment options:

- Counter Service (7-Eleven)

- Counter Payment, ATM Payment, Bank Counter, Internet Banking

- Direct Debit

  • Booking Confirmed: indicates that the booking is successfully completed; this is seen in the following payment options:

- Credit / Debit Card

- Union Pay

- My e-Wallet

- Installment Payment Plan
