One of its Six Running Programs of the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2017
PHUKET – Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited recently organized the "Bangkok Airways Phuket Marathon on 6 August 2017 at Phuket Old Town. The event was a part of its Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2017 and attended by thousands of running enthusiasts from around the world.
Mr. Kridhakorn Sirabhabhoj, Senior Director - Marketing Communication, Bangkok Airways, said "The Bangkok Airways Phuket Marathon is one of our six programs of the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2017 and the main purpose of this event was to promote Phuket tourism and to ensure that participants recognize the importance of healthy lifestyle. Moreover, we were delighted to join hands with Teelakaw Company Limited in organizing this unique running event. All participants were impressed with breath-taking scenery of Phuket town as well as the beauty of local charms along the running route."
"The Bangkok Airways Phuket Marthon offered runners in 4 different categories which were Fun Run of 5 kilometers, Mini Marathon of 10 kilometers, Half Marathon of 21.5 kilometers and full Marathon totaling 42.195 kilometers." Mr. Kridhakorn added.
Bangkok Airways Phuket Marathon is the third event out of its six planned programs of the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2017. The remaining programs are the "Chiang Rai Marathon" that will happen on 24 September 2017, the "Lanna Marathon" in Chiang Mai that will happen on 19 November 2017, and the "Ultra Trail Panoramic" in Mae Hong Son that will happen during 8 to 10 December 2017.
