Bangkok Airways introduces E-Boarding Pass service via Smart Phones

Bangkok / Recently, Bangkok Airways introduces E-Boarding Pass service to make it more convenient for passengers by reducing the check-in process and at the same time help save the environment.

“We had a very good response from passengers after we launched a web check-in service earlier. We then try to develop the system in order to shorten the check-in process, increase customer satisfaction and environmental friendly. This new service is available from September 1st, 2012.” said Ms. Tresarun Sitakalin, Ground services director of Bangkok Airways

Passengers may check-in through http://www.bangkokair.com/pages/view/web-check-in  24 hrs to 2 hrs before departure time (for domestic flights only). After completing the web check-in process, you may select QR Code service. The system will then send the QR code which consists of flight information, itinerary and seat number to your email. Passengers may show this QR code upon airport security check and also at the gate to board the aircraft.

For passengers who use E-Boarding Pass service from now to December 31st, 2012, will get a baggage allowance of an extra 10 kg. For more information, please visit www.bangkokair.com or call center at 1771 (24Hrs).
