Bangkok / 23 February 2018 (Today) – Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited (BA) announces the company’s operating results of 2017 with total revenue amounting to 28,493.3 million baht. The net profit was reported at 846.4 million baht up by 6.5 percent compared to 2016.
Mr. Puttipong Prasarttong-Osoth, President of Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited commented that, "In 2017, total revenue of the company was 28,493.3 million baht, increased by 6.5 percent from the previous year. Net profit was reported amounting to 846.4 million baht in which the profit attributable to the equity holders of the company was 787.9 million baht. Earnings per share was 0.38 baht. The total number of passengers in 2017 was 5.944 million passengers, increased by 5 percent. The passenger load factor was at 68.5 percent.
Currently, Bangkok Airways operates a fleet of 38 aircraft; 15 ATR 72-500s/600s and 23 Airbus A319s/A320s.
