One of its Six Running Programs of the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2017
Chiang Mai – Recently, Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited organized the "Bangkok Airways Lanna Marathon" at the Chiang Mai International Exhibition and Convention Centre. The event was a part of Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2017 and attended by thousands of running enthusiasts from around the world.
Mr. Kridhakorn Sirabhabhoj, Senior Director - Marketing Communication of Bangkok Airways said, “Bangkok Airways Lanna Marathon is the fifth event in our Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2017 program and was organized to promote tourism and sporting in Chiang Mai. participated runners had a chance to experience a unique perspective of Lanna culture as the route took them around the outskirts of the city and was designed to include both flat and cross-country portions while also featuring Bangkok Airways’ signature boutique touches”.
"The Bangkok Airways Lanna Marathon offered runners in 4 different categories which were Fun Run of 5 kilometers, Mini Marathon of 10 kilometers, Half Marathon of 21.5 kilometers and full Marathon totaling 42.195 kilometers and attracted over 4,800 running enthusiasts from around the world" Mr. Kridhakorn added.
Bangkok Airways Lanna Marathon is the fifth event out of its six planned programs of the Bangkok Airways Boutique Series 2017. The remaining programs is the "Ultra-Trail Panoramic" in Mae Hong Son that will happen during 8 to 10 December 2017.
