Bangkok Airways announces the cancellation of some flights to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai during Loy Krathong festival

Bangkok / 18 November 2015 – (Today) Bangkok Airways Public Company Limited announces the cancellation of some flights on Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) - Chiang Mai sector and Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) - Chiang Rai sector to avoid sky lanterns during Loy Krathong festival on 24-26 November 2015 according to the airline’s safety policy.

Cancelled flights between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Chiang Mai will be PG227 departs from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 19.35hrs and arrives in Chiang Mai at 20.50hrs, PG221 departs from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 21.15hrs and arrives in Chiang Mai at 22.30hrs, PG220 departs from Chiang Mai at 19.10hrs and arrives in Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 20.30hrs and PG228 departs from Chiang Mai at 21.40hrs and arrives in Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 23.00hrs.

Cancelled flights between Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) and Chiang Rai will be PG235 departs from Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 18.00hrs and arrives in Chiang Rai at 19.20hrs and PG236 departs from Chiang Rai at 20.05hrs and arrives in Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi) at 21.25hrs.
