Checked Baggage

• Economy Class : Maximum weight allowance is 20kg for adult and child / 10kg for infant.
• Blue Ribbon Class (Business Class) : Maximum weight allowance is 30kg for adult and child / 10kg for infant.
• Excess Baggage Rate Charge :
  • Domestic : THB 70 per kilogram, per sector will be applied (effective for ticketing date on 1 April 2011 onwards).
  • International : 1.5% of the highest published normal adult one way fare charge per kilogram
• As per directive from AOT, one checked baggage maximum weight is 32 kgs. If baggage weight exceeds 32 kgs per one piece, the baggage must be re-packed.

Unchecked Baggage

One item of cabin baggage for adult and child (except infant).

SPORTING EQUIPMENTS

Sports equipments are included in passenger checked baggage allowance, any exceed weight resulting from such inclusion shall be assessed at the normal excess baggage charge, 1.5% of the highest published normal Y class adult one way fare per one extra kilo.

Bicycle

Due to type and limitation of aircrafts, the dimension of bicycle required should be,

• ATR (70 seats) is 50x100x50 cms
• Airbus319 (144 seats) is 145x160x110 cms
• Airbus320 (160 seats) is 145x160x110 cms

GOLF SET

1 golf set (1 golf bag including 1 pair of golf shoes) is allowed per passenger. If total weight is not included in normal checked baggage allowance, for the first 15 kilos the charge shall be equal to the applicable charge for 6 kilos of excess baggage charge, any weight in excess of 15 kilos shall be as normal excess baggage. If included in the checked baggage allowance, any over weight resulting from such inclusion shall be assessed at the above special charge or the normal excess baggage charge whichever is less.

SURFBOARDING

Surfboarding shall not be included in the checked baggage allowance and shall be assessed. One board not exceeding 109 inches (277 cms).

SCUBA EQUIPMENT

You are allowed to take one suitable packed scuba diving set of not more than one of each of the following items in checked baggage;

• Empty scuba tank (Compressed air/gas tank must be empty.)
• Scuba regulator
• Tank harness
• Tank pressure gauge
• Mask
• Knife
• Spear gun (Spear guns must be unloaded with spear packed seperately.)
• Safety vest
