Important Health and Visa information before you make your trip.

Health concern for each country

Before visiting other country, you should find out more on going information on the country current health situation and always bring with you your necessary medication while visiting other country.

Immunizations

Immunizations or other precautionary measures, such as anti-malarial tablets, are recommended or required when traveling to many (sub) tropical destinations. Some of these must be administered a certain time prior to travel. Please be sure to check with the local authorities before your visit to get the right approval for these medications.

Am I healthy enough to travel?

If you do not have any physical illness and did not admit into a hospital within the past 6 month, you are basically ready to travel. Special attention is required for passengers whose health problems may be exacerbated by altitude, hypoxia, travel stress, manhandling luggage, changing climates and food as well as other travel related difficulties.

We do strongly suggest that you consult your own doctor or an aerospace medical specialist for advice before travel if you have any concerns or doubts about your fitness for travel. Please inform us once you made your reservation.

Pregnancy

  • PG will transport expectant mother passengers with maximum 32weeks pregnancy without doctor approval but indemnity form must be signed during 28-32weeks pregnancy.
  • If the pregnancy is over 32weeks, doctor approval regarding her expected delivery date and her suitability for air travel is required for carriage and indemnity form to be signed by passenger.
  • During the last 4weeks of pregnancy prior to birth, expectant mother shall not be accepted for carriage on company's flights.
  • On departure day, PG reserves the rights for ground staff and/or pilot in command to deny boarding expectant mother passenger, whose health condition is not fit to fly under consideration of pilot in command, regardless of medical certificate.

Visa

Before booking your flight, please be remind that other country immigration authority have different entry regulations. Please ensure that your holding passport have the right document or visa before making your trip. Bangkok Airways will not be responding for the denial of entry of passengers if they do not process the right document or visa.
