The Dhara Devi Chiang Mai's acclaimed French restaurant is located in a magnificent Lanna-style building set on a platform overlooking paddy fields and tall coconut palms. Its vaulted wooden interior is resplendent with sculpted chandeliers and enormous teak pillars clad in sheets of beaten copper relief.
The restaurant serves one of the best French cuisines in Thailand, dishes that exclude the heady aromas of French countryside but remain light, avoiding rich butter sauces.
Not only is the food at Farang Ses unique. The tableware and unusual steel-stemmed glassware with its art deco detailing nave been chosen with great care to complement the gracious of this shrine to French modern cuisine.
